Executive Production

About the role

The Executive Production professional is responsible for overseeing the execution of scheduled manufacturing activities at our Goa facility. You will allocate resources, ensure compliance with SOPs, and maintain product quality throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate operators, manpower, and accessories according to the production plan.
• Maintain discipline and enforce certified standing orders.
• Ensure completion of activities within standard time and prioritize feed to downstream processes.
• Communicate shift handovers, share vital product information, and update status boards.
• Monitor SOP adherence, in‑process testing frequency, and quality parameters.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report quality defects; compile batch records for QA.
• Manage SAP tasks: create purchase orders, apply FIFO material determination, post goods issue, and perform TECO.
• Plan and schedule production, monitor daily activity, and optimise changeovers for dispensing, granulation, mixing, compression, and coating.
• Maintain adequate WIP levels and document production output.
• Drive continuous improvement in cycle time, yield, and cost of goods.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing processes.
• Ability to enforce discipline and act as a role model for the workforce.
• Excellent communication skills for shift handovers and cross‑functional coordination.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data integrity and documentation.

Required skills

• SAP (material management, production order processing)
