Executive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Loparex India is seeking an experienced Executive Mechanical Maintenance professional to lead the upkeep of critical plant equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of mechanical assets across our silicone release liner manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, piping and mechanical drives.
• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly and shutdown maintenance activities with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, EHS, Quality and other support teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, lubrication programmes, alignment, balancing and vibration monitoring.
• Maintain work‑order records, equipment history and report maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, downtime and PM compliance.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, permit‑to‑work, lockout/tagout and contractor safety procedures.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 8–10 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or process‑plant environment.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities with a disciplined, hands‑on approach.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to critical breakdowns outside normal hours.
