PPC Engineer

About the role

As a PPC Engineer at JRD Fibre, you will act as the vital link between the head office and the production plant, ensuring smooth coordination of manufacturing processes. You will help optimise production efficiency while maintaining high product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the head office to create production plans and schedules.
• Allocate resources efficiently, including labour and machinery.
• Coordinate procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Work closely with quality control teams to uphold product quality.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the head office and the production plant.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis to support decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train and develop production staff in best practices.
• Address production issues proactively and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
