Estate Host

About the role

The Estate Host will be the face of a six‑suite heritage boutique property in Jaipur, managed by Alt Homes. This hands‑on role blends the responsibilities of a general manager, personal concierge and welcoming host, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, high‑touch experience in a unique estate setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact in the lobby, handling all check‑ins and check‑outs personally.
• Anticipate and fulfil guest needs, build micro‑profiles, and manage all in‑stay communication via WhatsApp, calls and in‑person interactions.
• Oversee daily operations of the six suites, including housekeeping rounds, room readiness, maintenance issues and inventory of amenities, linen and minibar.
• Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping and external vendors, maintaining smooth service without disrupting guest spaces.
• Lead on‑property events and experiences such as supper clubs, picnics, workshops and corporate gatherings, managing logistics and guest flow.
• Manage reservations through the property‑management system, track occupancy, guest feedback and operational issues, and support upselling and direct enquiries.
• Maintain daily logs and periodic reports for Alt Homes, and support training initiatives for guest‑facing teams.

• Strong presence and professionalism in guest‑facing areas.
• Ability to resolve concerns discreetly and maintain composure under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to anticipating guest preferences.
• Effective communicator across multiple channels (in‑person, phone, messaging).
