Duty Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Raffles is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role combines leadership, operational oversight, and hands‑on support across all front‑of‑house functions in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, counsel and discipline team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel features, facilities, room types, rates, packages and policies.
• Conduct night audit during overnight shifts, generate required reports and update guest profiles in Opera PMS.
• Monitor check‑in and check‑out processes, anticipate critical situations and support efficient guest processing.
• Uphold positive guest relations, anticipate needs and respond promptly at any time.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Proficiency in Opera Property Management System and other relevant hotel software.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity, compassion and ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced setting.
