Equity Dealer – Market Trading & Execution

About the role

The Equity Dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell transactions for equity schemes, ensuring the best possible price while adhering to investment parameters. The role combines market intelligence gathering, trade idea generation, and precise execution across multiple counterparties.

Key responsibilities

• Place orders and monitor bid‑offer spreads to ensure efficient dealing.
• Execute trade ideas generated by the fund team, allocating across securities and locking in target yields.
• Coordinate with brokers, banks, and other financial institutions to secure optimal deals.
• Obtain trade confirmations, liaise with operations, and streamline dealing processes.
• Maintain strict compliance with all stock‑market limits and regulations.
• Provide regular market intelligence updates and investment theme outlooks to fund managers.

Required profile

• Experience in equity trading or fund‑management dealing environments.
