Equipment Technician

About the role

Tata Electronics Private Limited is building India’s first AI‑enabled semiconductor foundry. The Equipment Technician will ensure that critical production equipment operates reliably, supporting high‑volume manufacturing of power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers and high‑performance computing logic.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SPI, Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow and AOI machines.
• Perform SMT machine maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and machine tossing control.
• Manage spare parts inventory and oversee machine installation for new product launches.
• Conduct new product development activities, including CPK and GRR analysis.
• Ensure all stations meet quality standards and work toward zero‑defect production.
• Evaluate and optimise material workflow to increase throughput and productivity.
• Collaborate with line engineers, managers and supervisors to maintain 100% on‑time delivery.
• Promote a safe, clean work environment and ensure equipment availability.

Required profile

• Diploma holder with a minimum of 3 years’ experience handling manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of line installation, alignment and bring‑up activities.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve quality and productivity.
