Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance of SMT production lines. You will work closely with line engineers, managers, and supervisors to ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency and meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair SMT machines such as SPI, Fuji, GKG printers, reflow ovens, and AOI systems.
• Control machine tossing, manage spare parts inventory, and oversee machine installation and alignment.
• Support new product development, monitor CPK and GRR metrics, and ensure product quality meets company standards.
• Collaborate with line teams to develop work schedules that achieve 100% on‑time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at zero‑defect production and increased throughput.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure tools and equipment are ready for use.

Required profile

• Diploma holder with at least 2 years of experience in SMT equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to analyze breakdowns, perform troubleshooting, and execute repairs efficiently.
• Strong understanding of line installation, alignment, and bring‑up activities.
