NPI Technician

About the role

We are looking for an NPI Technician to join our manufacturing team and support the introduction of new products from prototype to full‑scale production. The role combines hands‑on assembly, testing, and process documentation to ensure smooth, high‑quality launches.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, modify and troubleshoot engineering prototypes and technology samples using schematics and drawings.
• Collaborate with process‑engineering SMEs to define manufacturing procedures, identify tooling needs and apply Design‑for‑Manufacturability principles.
• Perform functional and qualification testing (thermal, mechanical, electrical or automated test equipment) and record results.
• Identify, document and resolve technical bugs, yield risks or tool mismatches during NPI and safe‑launch production runs.
• Create and maintain SOPs and train production operators before products enter the assembly line.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in New Product Introduction within a fast‑paced manufacturing or product‑development environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Hand soldering.
• Specialized testing equipment (thermal, mechanical, electrical).
• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• MES (Manufacturing Execution System) tracking.
