About the role
Husky Technologies is seeking an Engineering Team Leader – Mechanical to head a multidisciplinary design team in Chennai. You will drive the development of new machine platforms, ensuring innovation, quality, risk mitigation and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a mechanical engineering team of junior, senior and specialist designers.
- Oversee the design, development and release of engineering for new Husky machine platforms and critical service requests.
- Ensure products meet business‑defined requirements and align with the Husky Operating model.
- Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed completion dates.
- Coach, mentor and cross‑train team members to build capability.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading mechanical engineering teams in product development.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design processes and risk mitigation.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality products on schedule.
