Energy Modeler – Sustainable Building Design

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Modeler to lead sustainable building design initiatives. The role involves creating detailed energy models to support certifications such as LEED, PRM, Part L, and NABERS, and to drive zero‑energy and zero‑carbon projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate energy models for new and existing buildings using industry‑standard tools.
• Support LEED, PRM, Part L, NABERS, and other sustainability certification processes.
• Perform energy audits and analyze building performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Interpret architectural, HVAC, and construction drawings to inform modeling assumptions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate energy strategies into overall design.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture, Integrated Design, Building Performance or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sustainable building design and energy modelling.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and HVAC drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rhino, Revit, SketchUp and Radiance.
• Energy modelling for LEED, PRM, Part L, NABERS certifications.
• Energy auditing and zero‑energy/zero‑carbon building design.
