Civil Frontline Engineer

About the role

The Frontline Engineer – Civil is responsible for maintaining and improving civil infrastructure across the plant and associated townships. The role ensures safety, cost‑effectiveness, and quality while supervising maintenance activities and supporting project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Execute plant‑wide civil infrastructure maintenance, including daily jobs, supervision, and cost estimation.
• Manage township infrastructure, covering water supply, sanitation, drainage, and upkeep of buildings.
• Assist in the execution of civil projects, schemes, and improvement initiatives.
• Forecast and present rehabilitation expenditures to control maintenance costs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and reports for the section.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and sustainability standards (IMS, ISO).
• Foster a positive work culture through effective communication with permanent and contractual workmen.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Integrated Management System (IMS) standards.
• Knowledge of ISO standards related to safety, health, and environment.
