Embedded Architect – Smart Medical Devices

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Architect to lead the design of the electronics and firmware for a next‑generation smart catheter. The role involves shaping the hardware and software architecture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a reliable, low‑power solution for medical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall embedded hardware and firmware architecture for the smart catheter.
• Select appropriate MCU/SoC platforms that meet medical device standards.
• Design BLE and NFC communication stacks and integration.
• Architect sensor acquisition, signal processing, and data handling pipelines.
• Create power‑management strategies and battery‑life optimization plans.
• Ensure the solution complies with IEC 62304 software lifecycle requirements.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably in medical or regulated environments.
• Proven track record of defining architecture for complex embedded products.
