ELV Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ELV Engineer to design, configure and integrate extra‑low‑voltage (ELV) systems across various building projects. The role covers the full lifecycle from design through testing, commissioning and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design ELV systems such as FAS, ACS, BMS, EPABX, LAN/WAN, CCTV and PA systems for diverse buildings.
• Participate in installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Configure software and multiple OEM servers, handling networking and Windows operating systems.
• Produce functional and design documentation (FDS, DDS) and ensure full QA procedures.
• Integrate ELV systems with related BMS platforms.
• Utilise 3D modelling to resolve clashes.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor technical proposals and deliverables.
• Coordinate interface sign‑offs with other system engineers and contractors.
• Obtain statutory approvals and liaise with site teams.
• Engage with clients, engineers, vendors and contractors for technical discussions and final approvals.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of communication protocols.
• Working knowledge of modern ELV systems and software configuration.
• Ability to configure multiple OEM servers.
• Strong networking skills and familiarity with Windows OS.
• Experience across the full software/systems lifecycle.
• Knowledge of ELV‑BMS integration and 3D clash resolution.
• Experience preparing RFQs and conducting technical vendor evaluations.
• Capability to secure statutory approvals and manage site coordination.
