Structural Design Engineer – EDRC (PAF)

About the role

The Structural Design Engineer will lead the design of steel and RCC structures from concept through detailed design and construction documentation. The role is based at the Bhogapuram site and the EDRC headquarters, supporting large‑scale infrastructure projects such as airports, shopping malls, railway stations and office complexes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, detailed and construction‑stage designs for steel and RCC structures in line with project scope.
• Prepare specifications, quantity estimates and construction drawings.
• Coordinate design activities with other disciplines and resolve interdisciplinary issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of design documents while complying with statutory codes and standards.
• Maintain design quality, review calculations and support construction teams during execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in structural design for airports, malls, railway stations or large office buildings.
• Familiarity with Indian and international codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD and SAFE software.
• Steel structure design.
• RCC (reinforced concrete) structure design.
• Quantity estimation and specification preparation.
• Design coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.
