ELV Design Engineer

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Lead Engineer to head the design and engineering of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across all project phases. The role combines technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and client interaction to deliver complex infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems such as fire detection & alarm, public address & voice alarm, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, structured cabling, ICT & telecom networks, BMS, EPMS, PSIM, ISMS, and integrated security management.
• Develop design concepts, system architecture, basis of design reports, design calculations, and technical specifications.
• Prepare equipment sizing, bills of quantities, cable schedules, I/O schedules, network architecture, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, international and local codes, and industry standards.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in ELV design and engineering.
• Project experience in hyperscale data centers, colocation facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, airports, hospitals, commercial, smart and industrial buildings, as well as government and critical infrastructure projects.
