Principal Engineer – Structural (Consultancy)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Engineer with 8‑12 years of structural engineering experience in a consultancy environment to lead high‑rise commercial and residential projects in Gurgaon.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Structural Lead on projects, overseeing design, analysis and coordination.
• Support site construction activities by responding to RFIs, tender and pre‑bid queries.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP services and other stakeholders to ensure integrated solutions.
• Deputed at the client office in Gurgaon, reporting to both the client and AECOM.
• Travel for site visits outside NCR as required, following AECOM travel policy.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a consultancy.
• Proficiency in Indian codes and knowledge of international codes (ACI, British, etc.).
• Experience with commercial and residential high‑rise buildings, concrete and steel structures.
• B‑Tech/BE minimum; Master’s degree preferred.

Required skills

• ETABS, STAAD, SAFE, RCDC (3D analysis software).
• Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of Indian Codes, ACI and British Codes.
• Concrete and steel design expertise.
