Electrical Staff – Power Plant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Staff member to oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems within a power plant. The role ensures reliable power generation and distribution while supporting safe plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation and maintenance of generators, transformers, switchgear, MCC and PCC panels.
• Monitor electrical load distribution to guarantee stable, uninterrupted power supply.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance according to schedule.
• Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot issues and restore equipment promptly.
• Coordinate with operations and instrumentation teams during shutdowns, startups and routine activities.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, including LOTO, PPE and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Prepare shift reports, maintenance logs and equipment performance records.
• Guide and supervise technicians and junior staff, and assist in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a power generation environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and lock‑out/tag‑out practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with cross‑functional departments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
