Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our team and work on installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, pre‑commissioning and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems at project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Set up and maintain MCCs, distribution panels, motors, transformers, cable trays, lighting systems and control panels.
• Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, megger/IR testing, continuity checks and electrical equipment testing.
• Install and maintain field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow and level devices.
• Carry out instrument tubing, impulse line installation, junction‑box connections and instrument cable termination.
• Execute instrument calibration, loop checking, continuity checks and functional testing.

Required profile

• Diploma / ITI / technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, calibration and commissioning.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, control circuits, motors, MCCs and field instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
