E-commerce Accountant Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced E‑commerce Accountant Specialist to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for our online retail operations. You will ensure accurate financial records across multiple sales channels, handle complex reconciliations, and support compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, invoices, payments, expenses and ledgers.
• Reconcile Shopify orders, refunds, returns, cancellations, RTOs, discounts and store credits.
• Handle payment‑gateway and COD reconciliation.
• Manage marketplace settlements for platforms such as Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion, etc.
• Verify commissions, logistics charges, penalties, GST, TDS, TCS and settlement deductions.
• Reconcile bank statements, courier remittances, inventory and accounting records.
• Prepare sales, expense, profitability, cash‑flow and settlement reports.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS, e‑invoicing, e‑way bills, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and resolve payment or settlement discrepancies.

Required profile

• B.Com, Finance, Accounting or related qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in e‑commerce, D2C, retail or fashion finance.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Shopify and marketplace accounting.
• Payment‑gateway, COD, returns, refunds and RTO reconciliation.
• GST, TDS, TCS, e‑invoicing and e‑way bill knowledge.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, Excel and Google Sheets.
• Advanced Excel functions: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and MIS reporting.
