Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Jaipur office. The candidate will work within a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm environment, handling financial records, taxation, compliance and audit activities while ensuring statutory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage books of accounts, journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Draft financial statements, balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
• Assist internal and statutory auditors with documentation and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders for accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or M.Com; CA Inter preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in a CA firm or accounting consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Good analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books.
• Advanced use of MS Excel for financial data analysis.
