Senior Accountant (CA Firm Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant with solid experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm. The role involves managing end‑to‑end financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting audit activities for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage books of accounts, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Draft financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Assist in internal and statutory audits, providing documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders for accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or M.Com; CA Inter preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in a CA firm or accounting consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with company law compliance and ROC filings is a plus.
