Director, Record to Report (RTR)

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Director to lead the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) function for its Hyderabad Shared Service Center. The role oversees financial reporting and accounting for North America, Europe and Asia‑Pacific, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Hyderabad SSC, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Lead the finance process for a global organization, with a strong focus on accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle.
• Oversee quarterly and annual financial statement reviews, coordinating internal stakeholders and external reviewers.
• Communicate financial results, process matters and evolving accounting guidance to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, addressing financial statement and accounting matters.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial services in line with US GAAP and agreed SLAs, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, SOX and audit compliance.
• Provide operational leadership to supervisors, set priorities and monitor critical deadlines.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and support GBS transition initiatives.
• Review, approve and maintain finance desktop procedures and remediation plans for service‑level gaps.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting within a global, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and related reporting standards.
• Proven ability to manage external audit relationships and ensure compliance.
• Leadership experience overseeing large finance teams and shared service centers.
