About the role

The Director, Software Engineering will lead the transformation of our digital marketing capabilities through innovative AI solutions. This strategic leader will provide thought leadership across the organization, aligning business objectives with pioneering AI technologies to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic vision for integrating AI into our technology offerings.
• Lead client and internal engagements to understand business challenges and architect AI‑powered solutions.
• Partner with leadership teams to develop compelling technical strategies and solution architectures.
• Guide teams through hands‑on architecture, design, and technical decision making.
• Develop architectural frameworks, procedures, and standards for AI‑driven solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects, engineering managers, and senior technical talent.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape platform roadmaps.
• Foster innovation through proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, and research initiatives.
• Lead the Technology Chapter, overseeing hiring, capability development, engineering standards, and succession planning.

Required profile

• 14+ years in technology leadership roles with a proven track record of leading complex enterprise solution architecture.
• Experience building and leading engineering and architecture teams, translating business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and execution.
• Deep practical knowledge of modern AI/ML technologies, including Large Language Models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, and responsible AI governance.
• Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), API design, data architecture for AI‑ready systems, microservices, and containerization.
