About the role

Redesign Health is building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of Indian healthcare. As Director of Platform, India you will shape the firm’s market presence, drive founder origination, and act as the operational bridge between the India fund team and the global platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and steward a continuous, curated founder pipeline aligned with Redesign Health’s thesis.
• Design and execute a proprietary founder sourcing strategy to address early‑stage healthcare formation gaps across India.
• Cultivate Redesign Health’s brand as the premier healthcare venture platform in India, partnering with global marketing to create India‑specific channels and content.
• Provide trusted operational support to portfolio founders, including hiring, partnerships, vendor introductions, and go‑to‑market assistance.
• Serve as the connective tissue between the India fund team and the global platform, ensuring founders receive comprehensive support from day one.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in venture capital, zero‑to‑one startups, or founder‑facing platform roles.
• Deep knowledge of the Indian startup ecosystem, capital markets, and cultural context.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and build relationships with high‑potential founders.
• Independent, principal‑level thinking and comfortable running initiatives autonomously.
