Director - North America Financial Control

About the role

The North America Financial Control Director leads financial reporting for all business units across the region, partnering with the regional executive team to align accounting decisions with commercial strategy. This senior position sits on both the North America Finance Leadership Team and the Controllers’ Group Leadership Team, providing functional and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial reporting for North America business units.
• Translate regional commercial agenda into accounting policies and decisions.
• Lead and coordinate core finance functions including Demand FP&A, Finance Experience, Supply FP&A, and other GBO sub‑functions.
• Provide functional and people leadership to the North America finance team.
• Drive process improvement, risk assessment, and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with 18+ years of experience in a multinational corporate environment.
• In‑market business exposure and strong financial accounting & reporting background.
• Experience with SAP, IFRS, US GAAP, internal/external audit and SOX compliance.
• Proven people‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Track record in shared services, process improvement and project management.
