DevOps Engineer

About the role

Contify is seeking an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer eager to learn and contribute to its cloud infrastructure, database management, and deployment pipelines. You will work with AWS, containerised environments and CI/CD tools to build scalable, reliable, and secure systems supporting data crawling, processing and indexing services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployments.
• Deploy, monitor and operate applications and data‑processing services across development, staging and production.
• Manage AWS cloud resources and container workloads (Docker/EKS) to ensure reliability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure, configuration management and create operational documentation.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents and address security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA and DevOps teams to enhance deployment processes and platform observability.
• Participate in technical discussions, reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate (preferably Computer Science) with 1‑2 years of AWS experience.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Experience provisioning, configuring and deploying environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/Solr).
• Strong Linux background and shell scripting (bash/sh).

• AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, VPN, Subnets, ELB, Disaster Recovery).
• Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Jenkins (or similar CI/CD platform).
• Linux operating system.
• Bash/shell scripting.

• SonarQube (code‑quality automation, optional).
