Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed CAD models and engineering drawings for automation and manufacturing projects. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop fixtures, system layouts and bill of materials that meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2‑D and 3‑D CAD models for parts, assemblies and fixtures.
• Produce clear assembly and part drawings, including Bill of Materials.
• Design spot‑welding and MIG‑welding fixtures for production lines.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to support on‑site design activities.
• Maintain documentation and update drawing libraries.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of CAD part design and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Experience in the automation industry, system and fixture design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and welding fixture design.
• Ability to work with MS Excel and Word for documentation.
• Project design experience at the site is a plus.
