Design Engineer

About the role

Quest Global is seeking a Design Engineer to join its engineering services team. The role focuses on creating detailed designs and drawings for mechanical components, with a preference for aircraft primary and secondary structural parts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce design drawings for mechanical parts, especially aerospace structural components.
• Utilise Catia V5 to model parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform analytical assessments to validate design feasibility and optimise performance.
• Maintain design documentation and support the review process.

Required profile

• First‑class degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognised university.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical part design and drawing production.
• Minimum of 1 year of practical experience using Catia V5.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with teams and clients.
