Design Coordinator / Architect

About the role

The Design Coordinator / Architect will manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring that drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals and correspondence are accurate, up‑to‑date and readily accessible for project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, organise and control document registers and trackers for drawings, submittals, RFIs and approvals.
• Coordinate collection, distribution and approval of documents with consultants, contractors and clients.
• Support preparation, formatting and tracking of contracts, work orders and BOQ documentation.
• Maintain version control, archiving and digital records in line with statutory and organisational standards.
• Assist with audit preparation, reporting and client reviews by providing current documentation.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of document control processes.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in document control for commercial, residential or base‑build projects.
• Strong knowledge of document management workflows, version control and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using SharePoint, Aconex or ProjectWise (or similar document management systems).
