Deputy Project Director – Heavy Civil Infrastructure

About the role

The Deputy Project Director will support the Project Director in delivering large‑scale heavy civil infrastructure projects, primarily focused on dam and irrigation works near Ajmer, Rajasthan. This senior position requires strong leadership to oversee multiple construction fronts and ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in overall project execution and delivery.
• Lead construction activities across dams, canals, pumping stations, head regulators, and rising main works.
• Ensure strict adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor resource deployment and productivity across multiple work fronts.
• Drive risk management, progress reviews, and corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 25 years of experience in execution of large‑value heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Successfully managed at least one Rock Fill Dam Irrigation Project as Project Manager or equivalent.
• Project management certifications preferred.
