Dealer – Fixed Income & Equity Trading

About the role

The Dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell transactions for fixed‑income and equity schemes, ensuring optimal pricing and adherence to investment parameters. The role combines market intelligence gathering with rapid, accurate trade execution across multiple counterparties.

Key responsibilities

• Place orders, monitor bid‑offer spreads, and ensure efficient dealing operations.
• Execute trade ideas generated by the investment team, allocating across securities to achieve target yields.
• Obtain trade confirmations from brokers, coordinate with operations, and streamline dealing processes.
• Maintain compliance with all market limits and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously track market conditions, yield curves, liquidity, and economic indicators, and disseminate insights to fund managers.
