Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Join the Cyber Digital & Fraud Security team within the CDF central cybersecurity department of BNP Paribas. As a Cyber Security Engineer you will be responsible for safeguarding a wide range of applications by conducting thorough security reviews and supporting the implementation of protective measures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform application security reviews in line with Group requirements.
• Support development and IT teams in applying cybersecurity controls to assets.
• Analyse security scanner reports and intrusion‑test results.
• Assist in creating and tracking vulnerability remediation plans.
• Provide IT and cyber risk advisory to stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports, KPI dashboards and operational‑resilience metrics.
• Classify applications based on confidentiality, integrity, availability and traceability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT risk and cyber security within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of application security, cyber threats and risk assessment.
• Ability to work calmly under time constraints and escalate issues appropriately.
• Commitment to continuous learning and self‑motivation.
