Customer & Plant Quality Champion

About the role

We are looking for a Customer & Plant Quality Champion to lead quality initiatives at our Naganathapura plant. You will ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, support certification processes, and act as the primary liaison for customer quality matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet automotive certification requirements.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions, series support, and manage warranty claims and field failure analyses.
• Lead change‑management activities, including customer approvals and risk assessments for concessions.
• Drive zero‑defect initiatives and continuous improvement across the value stream.
• Prepare for and facilitate internal, external, and customer audits.
• Support product and process audits and manage the IQIS complaint system.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer‑focused quality roles within the automotive sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‑management abilities.
• Proven capability to work in and lead teams with emotional stability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automotive Quality Management Systems (QMS) and certification processes.
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and warranty claim handling.
• Familiarity with IQIS complaint management and risk assessment procedures.
