Corporate Counsel

About the role

We are a deep‑tech startup at the intersection of neuroscience and consumer hardware, building innovative products that generate health‑adjacent data. As Corporate Counsel you will join the leadership team, reporting to the General Counsel, and help shape the legal framework that supports rapid growth and complex regulatory challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership deals, NDAs, employment contracts, SaaS agreements, and research collaborations.
• Develop and maintain data‑privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with Indian law and international regulations such as GDPR.
• Support corporate governance, board matters, and regulatory filings.
• Assist with fundraising, investor documentation, and related legal work.
• Handle IP protection, research agreements, and partnerships with academic institutions.
• Provide fast, clear legal advice to founders and senior leadership on ad‑hoc matters.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of legal experience, either from a reputable law firm or in‑house at a technology, healthcare, or research‑focused company.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to prioritize, context‑switch, and form sound judgments about legal risk in a fast‑moving environment.
