Conveyor Belt Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Technician to join our team in Chalakkudy. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining conveyor belt systems for our industrial operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install new conveyor belts and associated components on site.
• Perform repairs, splicing, and lagging of belts and pulleys.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in conveyor systems.
• Apply lagging and conduct pulley repairs as required.
• Follow safety protocols and compliance standards throughout all tasks.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with conveyor belt splicing, repairs, and pulley lagging.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in conveyor belt maintenance.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures and compliance.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented communication skills.
• Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is an advantage.
