Construction Material Store Manager

About the role

The Construction Material Store Manager will be based on‑site in Gopalganj, Bihar and will lead the planning, procurement, receipt, storage and distribution of all construction materials for SAI KRIPA’s projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role ensures that the right quantities of quality materials are available exactly when needed, supporting timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain material stock levels across all sites.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and the procurement team to schedule deliveries.
• Verify quantity and quality of received goods and record them in the inventory system.
• Prepare regular reports on material consumption, costs and forecast future requirements.
• Prevent stock‑outs or excess inventory by optimizing reorder points.
• Enforce safety and compliance standards in material handling and storage.
• Collaborate with site engineers and production planners to align material availability with project schedules and budgets.

Required profile

• Experience in construction or real‑estate projects with a solid understanding of building materials and site operations.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and forecast material needs.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
