About the role
We are seeking a motivated Commis Chef specialized in South Indian cuisine to join a reputable resort in Alappuzha, Kerala. The role involves supporting daily kitchen operations and preparing authentic Indian dishes for resort guests.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking South Indian and broader Indian menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Manage ingredient stock, ensure proper storage, and assist with inventory control.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during all meal periods.
Required profile
- Prior experience working in a hotel or resort kitchen is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and South Indian culinary techniques.
- Ability to handle daily kitchen operations and food preparation efficiently.
- Good hygiene practices and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

What we offer
