Front Office Associate

About the role

The Front Office Associate will be the first point of contact for guests at a CGH Earth Experience Hotel in Alappuzha. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering a warm, efficient and memorable arrival and departure experience while supporting sustainable hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and ensure accurate billing.
• Handle reservations, respond to phone and in‑person inquiries, and maintain guest records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and CGH Earth’s sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain a professional reception area and support front‑office operations during rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing skills with experience in customer service and check‑in processes.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in hospitality, hotel front office, or guest relations (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Alappuzha, in rotating shifts, with reliability and good time‑management.
• Problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail, and calmness under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy (email, MS Office, reservation systems); additional language skills are a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
