Cluster Manager – Insurance Business for HDFC Branches

About the role

The Cluster Manager will drive insurance business through HDFC branch banking partners in Mumbai. You will work closely with branch heads and relationship managers to promote Birla Sunlife Insurance products, ensuring both pre‑sales and post‑sales support to achieve consistent quarterly growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage key decision‑makers across multiple HDFC branches to generate premium and revenue targets.
• Deliver regular updates on sales activities, product mixes and market trends to senior management.
• Facilitate smooth sales processes, including policy issuance, complaint handling and compliance with regulatory changes.
• Manage the open‑architecture relationship with the bank, providing tailored product solutions and service excellence.
• Develop innovative branch activities and campaigns to increase customer penetration and achieve activation goals.
• Provide feedback for new product development and create sales pitches aligned with channel partner needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance sales or banking channel partnership management.
• Strong understanding of unit‑linked, traditional and term insurance products.
• Ability to meet premium targets and drive quarterly business growth.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior bank officials.
• Analytical mindset to monitor performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
