Civil Site Supervisor – Construction Site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day construction activities on a reputable project in Kolkata. The role involves ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution while coordinating with engineers, architects, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction work according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor structural and finishing activities, ensuring strict quality control.
• Manage labour and subcontractors to maintain productivity and workflow.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and other site teams for seamless execution.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports, material consumption records and other site documentation.
• Identify and resolve site‑related issues proactively.
• Oversee site logistics, housekeeping and material management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Support client, consultant and management inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain discipline, productivity and optimal utilization of manpower and resources.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Graduate or ITI qualification.
• Hands‑on experience supervising complete building execution activities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Preferably residing near Kolkata and possessing a personal bike.
