General Laborer – Site Maintenance & Material Handling

About the role

We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to support daily operations on construction sites. You will keep work areas clean, assist tradespeople, and handle tools and materials safely. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and follows strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and remove trash, debris, and hazardous material to maintain a safe site.
• Assist welders, carpenters, painters and other tradespeople as needed.
• Transport and position materials such as cement, and operate equipment like drills, grinders and forklifts.
• Use power tools (saws, drills, grinders) and machinery for tasks including digging and stacking goods.
• Set up and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding.
• Place warning signs, cones and signposts to protect vehicles and pedestrians.
• Report equipment problems or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Required profile

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
• Strong focus on task execution and adherence to safety rules.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Required skills

• Operation of power tools (saws, drills, grinders).
• Forklift handling.
