Civil Engineer Water Supply Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer specialized in water supply operations to lead construction and quality assurance activities for drinking water distribution projects. The role is based at our SMEC India Hubli office and involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and reliable water infrastructure. Key responsibilities

• Manage construction activities for water supply distribution projects from planning to completion.
• Oversee quality assurance processes ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
• Coordinate contract procedures, design reviews and quality control documentation.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with standards/specifications, contract procedures, design and quality controls for drinking water supply projects.
