Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leadership

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the finance function for the India unit, shaping financial strategy in line with global objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, the CFO will provide strategic advice on commercial, operational and investment matters while driving profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the unit’s financial strategy, long‑range planning, capital allocation and resource optimisation.
• Lead annual budgeting, long‑term business planning and periodic forecasting, monitoring revenue, margins, working capital and manufacturing costs.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance with Ind AS, IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial, operational and regulatory risks, and manage enterprise risk frameworks.
• Direct treasury activities, cash‑flow management, banking relationships, foreign‑exchange exposure and hedging strategies.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance, transfer‑pricing and corporate tax planning.
• Support M&A, joint ventures and strategic partnerships with financial analysis and due‑diligence.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong track record of strategic financial planning, performance analysis and capital‑allocation decisions.
• Deep knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk, treasury functions and complex tax matters.
• Excellent communication skills to advise executive leadership and present financial insights.
