Chief Accountant – Record to Report (R2R)

About the role

SKF is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities for its Indian operations. Based in Chinchwad, Pune, you will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting for multiple legal entities while supporting statutory and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, local GAAP and Group policies.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and manage filings under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations and stock‑exchange requirements.
• Oversee journal entry reviews, balance‑sheet reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
• Lead internal, statutory, tax and regulatory audits, acting as the primary finance contact for auditors.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, driving implementation across the sub‑region.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance frameworks, including IFC/SOX where applicable.
