Buyer – Apparel Purchasing & Vendor Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage apparel purchasing, vendor coordination, and production documentation. The role supports the design and production teams by ensuring timely material availability and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update all production and sampling records.
• Communicate daily with vendors and internal teams to align on requirements.
• Create purchase orders, source materials, and manage indent processes.
• Conduct style and fashion trend analysis to inform buying decisions.
• Monitor in‑house material status and coordinate shipments to meet production schedules.
• Oversee vendor management, including order closure, follow‑up, and shipment tracking.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of experience with a retailer, buying agency, or export house.
• Hands‑on experience with knit and woven apparel products.
• Background in apparel buying, sourcing, or product development.
• Kids‑wear experience is a plus.
• Strong product and production knowledge with advanced Excel proficiency.
