Business Development Manager – Sportswear

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for AIDAN GLOBAL’s premium custom sportswear line. Based in Kollam, you will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with teams, clubs, event organizers and distributors, and expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and outreach to potential clients in the sports and apparel sectors.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts following company guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing and production teams to tailor offerings to client needs.
• Track sales performance, manage pipeline metrics and provide regular reports and forecasts to leadership.
• Attend industry events, gather customer feedback and contribute ideas for product and service improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, lead generation and relationship management, preferably within apparel or sportswear.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and planning skills for market research, opportunity analysis and sales forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or equivalent experience.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Interest in sports, athletics or performance apparel and commitment to respectful, non‑discriminatory conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic office software and email communication.
