Business Development Manager – Mega Accounts (Group Life Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive acquisition and servicing of large corporate (Mega) accounts within our Group Life Insurance business. The role focuses on building relationships with HR and C‑suite executives, managing the full sales cycle and ensuring client retention and growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire large corporate clients for Group Life Insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Mega Accounts.
  • Engage with HR leaders and CXOs for business development and relationship management.
  • Support the end‑to‑end sales process, including proposal preparation, pricing coordination and deal closure.
  • Drive retention and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

Required profile

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B / corporate sales, preferably in insurance, banking or BFSI.
  • Exposure to group insurance or employee benefits is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage large accounts in a target‑driven environment.
