Business Development Manager

About the role

Samosa Interactive is building its sales and growth function from the ground up and needs a proactive Business Development Manager to lead outbound B2B efforts. You will work closely with the founders and product team to understand the offering, identify target businesses, and create a repeatable pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build a strong pipeline of potential B2B customers using LinkedIn, referrals, networking and field outreach.
• Own outbound prospecting through cold calls, LinkedIn messages, email, WhatsApp and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Engage business owners, founders and decision‑makers to uncover pain points and qualify opportunities.
• Convert initial conversations into product demo meetings and keep prospects moving through the sales funnel.
• Collaborate with founders on demos, proposals, commercial negotiations and deal closures.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations and opportunities in the CRM.
• Provide structured market and customer feedback to the product team.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on B2B sales or business development experience.
• Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing deals.
• Comfortable researching prospects, making cold calls and handling objections.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with founders.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system to track sales activities.
