Territory Business Manager (Pharma Sales) - Chennai

About the role

A leading Indian pharmaceutical company is hiring one Territory Business Manager (TBM) in Chennai (Tambaram) to promote its products to doctors, consultants and specialists. The role covers product detailing, prescription generation, customer relationships and sales targets, with a CTC of 4.00 to 6.00 LPA and full-time employment.

Key responsibilities

• Present the clinical features, benefits and scientific data of pharmaceutical products to doctors, consultants and specialists.
• Persuade medical professionals to prescribe the company's brands so as to grow market share.
• Build and maintain long-term professional networks with doctors, hospital staff, retail chemists and wholesale stockists.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, new product launches and market trends in the assigned territory.
• Check regularly with retail chemists and distributors to ensure products are fully stocked.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual primary (company to stockist) and secondary (stockist to chemist) sales goals.
• Document daily field activities, doctor feedback and sales metrics in CRM systems while following pharmaceutical marketing codes of conduct.

Required profile

• Experience of 1 to 6 years in sales, specifically with dermatology, respiratory and ENT specialists.
• Ability to work across multiple therapy areas.

Required skills

• Medical representative and pharma sales experience.
• Field sales and business executive roles.
• Knowledge of dermatology, respiratory and ENT therapy areas.
